Sue & Sparky's

Sarah and I went and visited Sue and Sparky this last weekend.We had a blast. We took a ton of pictures while we were there. and I just wanted to thank them for letting us stay and making such wonderful meals. It was so much fun. Here are some of the pictures.

Double Wedding

Here are some pictures from My good friends Corey and Wills double wedding. They had a nice reception in thier back yard. Corey is my friend who catered my wedding. I felt very blessed to be part of the close knit group who invited.

I have to say that Nikki is the best wife ever! She does alot for me and our marriage. We are extremely happy together. The first year wasnt too hard at all in my opinion. We dated for 3 years before and through those 3 years we experienced problems that prepared us to marry each other.

1 whole year

So June 7th was our one year anniversary. It doesn't seem like it has been a whole year. They say that the first year is the hardest, though I do not really agree. Situations were hard such as 6 months of Pugslee being sick, but I feel that that just brought Chris and I closer and made us work together more. other than outside things, we rarley fought and had the problems you hear most couples talk about. I feel really lucky to have such a wonderful partner, though neither of us is perfect, we are perfect for each other.

So, for our anniversary we went up to Park City. this is where we spent our honey moon. so we went and walked around the outlet malls, and then went to town to get a Christmas ornament for the Christmas shop. It was closed so we will have to go back another time to get a new ornament. Here are some pictures from the day!

Adventures in Babysitting Part Deux

Another Adventure in Babysitting with Hannah and Isaac. The pool at our apartment opened up earlier this week. The kids came down and we went swimming to start off our adventure. The kids didn't have their floaties so Isaac was practicing kicking his feet on the stairs and splashing everyone - laughing hysterically! Meanwhile, Nikki and I were helping Hannah with her swimming by holding her and floating around the pool. We then got out of the pool and relaxed in the hot tub, which was "hot, too hot" according to Issac. He and Hannah eventually got used to the hot tub and relaxed for a minute.

Next adventure - it never fails, Shrek 1 and Shrek 2. It seems that is the only movie those 2 want to watch when they come over. Derek and I went to Dairy Queen for some ice cream cones for everyone while Amanda and Nikki stayed with the kids. I guess while I was gone, the friendly Gingerbread guy became a monster in Shrek 2 and scared Isaac to death! He grabbed Nikki's hand and they went into our room to watch Sponge Bob. This was the first time Isaac opened up to Nikki! SHE WAS SO HAPPY! Isaac is usually afraid of Nikki. This made Nikki's week!

I came back from Dairy Queen and Isaac would not let Nikki leave anywhere. He sat her down and cuddled next to her (see pics below).

Amanda's baby shower

Today was Amanda's baby shower. She looked so cute and ready for this baby. She is little biddy and has no where for the baby to go, so these next few weeks are gonna be uncomfortable. She got so many presents today though I think they were going to need a U-haul to get it all home.

Bride Wars movie party

We have a themed movie night about once a month... and this month was Bride Wars. It was a way cute movie. We did appetizers and did the colors lime green and brown. It was cute and fun.
