Floating the Weber River

So we decided to go on a little adventure with Chris's best friends Jessie and Jason Boone. We went and got some tubes to float in and was having all kinds of trouble trying to get them pumped up, it took forever. Then we were finally ready to go, Jessie, his wife Jeanette and thier two little dogs were going to Kayak, Jason and his girlfriend were going to float on tubes with Chris and I. We got down into the water and the water was moving pretty fast so it was hard to get on the tubes and get situated. We started out by a very low bridge, I freaked out we were going so fast and that bridge was so low, I jumped off and went back to shore. Chris had to continue cause everyone else had left and our car was the one parked at the end and he we had the keys. It was hotter than heck out so I hung out underneath a train bridge while they all floated. Chris said the float was nice, but the water was cold and the day was hot. I got burned of course. I sat and took some pictures while I waited for everyone.
We had a trooper take this...

The really low bridge I was convinced would kill us all... I did however watch a few people knock themselves out on it... and one dog... felt bad for the dog.. laughed at the people.

Meeting up with Amanda & Sarah's unnatural obsession with Jack and the box

While in Idaho I was excited to meet up with an old friend that I have known since Mr. McBrides 5th grade class. We went to school together even into college as we both went to ISU.. I of course only stayed for about a year. We lost touch over the years and I wondered often where she was and how she was. I was excited to reconnect with her over facebook of all things, and she met up with me while we were in Pocatello.

Then there is Sarah's obsession with Jack in the Box, we don't have them in Utah so she had to get a fix while we wer there.

1 YEAR

I have to say that Nikki is the best wife ever! She does alot for me and our marriage. We are extremely happy together. The first year wasnt too hard at all in my opinion. We dated for 3 years before and through those 3 years we experienced problems that prepared us to marry each other.

I LOVE YOU NIKKI!

1 whole year

So June 7th was our one year anniversary. It doesn't seem like it has been a whole year. They say that the first year is the hardest, though I do not really agree. Situations were hard such as 6 months of Pugslee being sick, but I feel that that just brought Chris and I closer and made us work together more. other than outside things, we rarley fought and had the problems you hear most couples talk about. I feel really lucky to have such a wonderful partner, though neither of us is perfect, we are perfect for each other.

So, for our anniversary we went up to Park City. this is where we spent our honey moon. so we went and walked around the outlet malls, and then went to town to get a Christmas ornament for the Christmas shop. It was closed so we will have to go back another time to get a new ornament. Here are some pictures from the day!
